Al Tourettes (Apple Pips Recordings) – Al had his first release in 2006 on Growth Recordings, with subsequent releases on Birmingham’s KracktroniK Records and Sweden’s Input Output Recordings as well as remixes for Lukes Anger’s Bonus Round Records. In Spring 2008 Al met Appleblim, and became interested in the Dubstep/ Techno crossover. They collaborated on a remix of Hector & Bryants ‘Tension’ for Phonica Records debut vinyl release in Spring 2009. In Autumn 2009 he released ‘Dodgem’ on Apple Pips Recordings and followed it with a storming exclusive mix for Mary Anne Hobbs world renowned BBC Radio 1 show.. Gatekeeper (Immerse recs / Punch Drunk recs) – Gatekeeper skulks on the fringes of dubstep where breaks, hard electro and darker substances are traded for the usual cliches, resulting in mutant warehouse steppers and a sound of Dubstep that is original and inspring to say the very least. Gatekeeper is a Logic genius and when he is not touring the country (and globe) playing his music he is teaching music technology at Bath College. So not only is he a successful producer, but a top class teacher too. If you are interested in making deep soundscapes, detailed drum beats, and warping basslines, this Dub-step talent is someone you are going to enjoy learning from. To hear his material head to:
